Keepers of the Earth
In addressing the health crisis facing our children, it is essential to understand the fundamental
causes that have created such a widespread epidemic. Whether we realize it or not, we are all directly connected to and dependent upon our environment, from the
air that we breathe to the food we eat, and the water we drink.
Our current health crisis is in large part a result of our exploitive agricultural methods that have
depleted our soils to the extent that it now requires four carrots to receive the same nutrients that were contained in one carrot fifty years ago. As a result of the
pollution of our water sources, clean, safe water is becoming a luxury that only the wealthy can afford. Due to the excessive use of chemicals and pesticides, our
children come into this world with over 250 different pesticides already in their bodies, many of them carcinogenic
To ensure the future our children deserve, we must understand that their health and the health of our
environment are directly connected, for the choices we make in how we eat have a profound and lasting impact in nature.
Our mission to eliminate obesity and malnutrition among our children cannot be accomplished without
also creating environmental awareness. As part of this mission we have published The Mystical World of Nebe / Sky of Dreams to create awareness among our children of
their essential role in protecting the environment. We have dedicated proceeds from the sale of the book to creating awareness programs for children and to the
fulfillment of our mission.
